• The Drag-N-Drop A Web URL process provides a quick and intuitive way to save web links directly into the application. 
• Users simply grab the URL from their browser's address bar and drag it to the designated drop zone on the application panel.
• Once dropped, users can personalize the description of the saved URL before confirming with a single click. 
• The system automatically refreshes to display the newly added record in the report grid and shows a preview of the web page, allowing for immediate visual confirmation of the saved content.

Process

Import web page links directly into the application by using a simple drag and drop method from your browser's address bar.

Open Page - Drag and Drop

1. Open a web page in your desktop browser

2. Position your mouse at the leftmost end of the address field - the cursor will change shape to indicate the value can be selected

3. With the left mouse button, "grab" the link from the browser's address bar. Drag the link to the designated "drop" location (purple box highlighted in yellow) on the application panel

• Record Added, Saved to Report List and Show in Previewer

4. When the "Record Will Be Added" form opens, review the automatically populated description field

5. Edit the description to be more personal or descriptive if needed

6. Click the green check button to save the record

7. The report grid list will refresh to display your newly added record. The previewer panel will simultaneously update to show a representation of the web page
